ALISHA M. COLLINS
FOUNDER & CEO
Alisha vigorously advocates for the children's rights, mental health wellness, and economic growth. Alisha holds a master's in early childhood education and youth studies from the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. A bachelor's in business administration from Bernard Baruch College in New York City, where she completed a double minor in English and Communications. Alisha possesses certifications in Dance Movement Therapy/Alternative Therapy, Early Intervention, and several other areas of social work.
Alisha grew up on the East Side of Flatbush in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, Alisha was introduced to early forms of Calypso, Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, and R&B music while growing up in a diverse Caribbean home. Alisha discovered comfort and a means of self-expression through dance to cope with her upbringing in a troubled and abusive home. Her passion for art and dance has consistently been a motivating factor in her life. Alisha believes that safeguarding the arts is crucial, as they will benefit us in the future, as they did for her. She has taught both adults and children for more than 10 years.
Alisha has appeared in NJ Urban News, On-Air with Sir, and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Creatively Releasing of NY LLC is certified as an MBE and MWBE.

In May 2018, Alisha's thesis was titled "Dancing, Mindfulness, and Our Emotions: Embracing the Mind, Body, and Sole."

In April 2022, Alisha was nominated for the Russ Berrie Making a Difference Award as an "unsung hero" for her influence on individuals and communities around New Jersey.

In May 2025, Alisha received the Women's Entrepreneurship Certification after finishing the 12-week certification program for female entrepreneurs at Cornell University.
